Project acceptance and achievements in 2010 of CPRC

Seven scientific research projects carried out by CPRC were accepted by the State Forestry Administration in 2010, including:
⑴"Eleventh Five-Year" technology supportting program: High-yield cultivation techniques associated with valuable non-timber woody species;
⑵"Eleventh Five-Year" technology supportting program: The key technologies and demonstration of Paulownia cultivation oriented for large-diameter timber; 
⑶The technology system for cultivation of Eucommia and yew for industrial raw material produces;
⑷ sustainable management techniques of agroforestry systems;
⑸ new apricot varieties selection and breeding ;
⑹ The cultivation technology and demonstration of Apricot and Lee's new hybrid varieties;
⑺ Demonstration of pruning and trunk extension of Paulownia
There are 4 research projects awarded to be scientific fruits, including:
⑴Llarge-diameter timber cultivation technology of Paulownia and research and development of specific use roganic fertilizer
⑵The selection and cultivation techniques of Apricot new variety "Zhong Ren-1"
⑶The specific forest cultivation technology for raw material produce for industrial use
⑷  Effects of nutrients and specific organic fertilizer on rapid cultivation of Paulownia large-diameter timber
A major achievement was given to "cultivation techniques of disease resistance of Apricot cultivars "
Two national invention patents were achieved: a tissue culture method of North American Rhododendron, an antioxidant preservation method of Eucommia oil.
